When I purchased my first RC Airplane and took it for its first flight, what a disaster! Taking off was simple, but trying to bring this thing down without crashing was the major problem. I didn't want to crash this thing because I spent a total of $120.00 plus my time building. I had a guy from my local flying club to take it out and make sure everything was trimmed properly. He made it look simple but, I was sure wrong. So I have here a couple of tricks to save on your purchase of your RC Airplane and some tips on how to better improve your flying skills.
I made a deal with my local hobby shop to plaster his company name all over my plane. I used decals on the wings, fuselage and my case. I had to fly with this on all the time for the whole season, and I got my plane C-130 Herc. for $15.00. The decal on the plane was his website. I don't know how many hits he received, but people were asking me all sorts of questions. It turned out, that the people I told were going into his shop and asking for the same deal. This was how he got customers into his store.
